We are a growing financial services company offering invoice financing to small and mid-sized organizations. Our service gives businesses the opportunity to optimize their cash flow and maximize their liquidity by converting current invoices into readily-available working capital.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Advertising and Promotion Planner is an independent, resourceful individual who can work as part of a team taking on a variety of marketing, communications, and administrative assignments. Comfort with technology and understanding of various digital tools and channels as well as an understanding of traditional marketing techniques is essential. This candidate will be expected to determine strategies to highlight our company image in front of our stakeholders (e.g. investors, clients and our clients' customers) through detailed research, planning and execution of advertising campaigns and corporate events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute advertising campaigns.
- Create a range of graphic design content for print and web.
- Maintain digital display content.
- Write a variety of content for internal and external audiences (e.g. newsletters, press releases, etc.).
- Report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, applications, and databases. Measure results and assess against goals.
- Collaborate with in-house programmers to create website content and optimize user experience.
- Support sales staff with database management and lead follow-up.
- Coordinate and execute internal and external events such as: Open Houses, Conferences, Meetings, Seminars, etc.
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or a related field.
- Proven working experience in digital and traditional marketing as well as project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (excellent grammar and spelling required).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator).
- Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, email, social media, display advertising campaigns and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. This is essential for reporting.

- Organizational skills: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, and monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information.
- Teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- 1 + year in demonstrable marketing experience.
